Out with the old and in
with the new! Today's Steel Coat is applied by use of an automated spindle
conveyor system.
The pin travels on a slow moving line where it enters
a computer controlled spray booth. The computer applies an even consistent coat
to each of your bowling pins. The pin then travels into the computer controlled
heat chamber. The heat chamber not only speeds up cure time, but also shrinks
the Surlyn to be tight around the pin.
Epoxy stripes are then added,
and the bottoms are treated to finish up a pin that looks and performs like
new! |
